This photograph was taken of my Brother in the basement of my house where I created a make-shift lighting studio. The lighting in this photo was created with the use of a homemade cardboard snoot (a pringles can and some extra bits of cardboard wrapped in electrical tape) attached to the end of my Vivitar 285HV flash unit. I didn't filter the light or use any gels to color correct for the flash, this left the moody blue light on my backdrop. Hopefully, I'll be able to add another Vivitar flash unit and maybe some PocketWizards in the near future to experiment with some more complex lighting projects. I guess there are alot of things on my equipment wish list...So I'm unsure of what item or items to procure next.
