During my recent visit to India, I was amazed at the amount of dogs roaming the streets. Growing up in a society with leash laws; a scene like this would rarely happen. After seeing these rugged looking street dogs, I often thought about how easy dogs have it in the U.S. compared to what I saw in India.

When I asked if there were every any attacks by these dogs, the reply was a little more direct than I was expecting...'Yes, very much.' So even though it looked as if they could care less that I was there I was sure to remember to keep some distance.
